Strong GCSE Performance 2017/18

Strong GCSE Performance 2017/18 Nidderdale High School is celebrating another year of strong GCSE performance across a wide range of subjects.  Overall, 71% of students achieved at least a Grade 4 (broadly equivalent to a Grade C) in English and 69% achieved this level in Maths. The majority of these students achieved the more challenging ‘Strong Pass’ mark of Grade 5. Attendance target 95.5% We encourage and reward good attendance.  Every student’s good attendance is vital as it has a clear link with progress, attainment and more positive life changes. Students must come to school every day they are not ill. We work closely with the Local Authority and the Officer for Behaviour and Attendance to deal with truancy, term time holidays and casual absenteeism. This is a Good School Good News for Nidderdale Nidderdale High School is celebrating success with the publication of their most recent Ofsted inspection findings (October 2017). The school was once again judged to be good and getting even better.
