Our Aim

The ICT department aims to develop the skills of our students so they can use ICT effectively and safely in all areas of their learning. Students will be able to find and communicate information, develop ideas and evaluate and critically reflect on their own, and their peers work. As the use of technology increases in all aspects of society, it is an essential skill that students require for society today. They will gain confidence and become creative and productive during their time at Nidderdale.

Lessons are planned to be as fun, interesting and challenging as possible. Online safety is a key aspect of the curriculum.
