Ofsted survey on Careers, Enterprise and Employability

On Wednesday 27th January, we were pleased to welcome HMI, Helen Lane to school as we had been selected as one of 40 secondary schools to take part in an Ofsted survey visit regarding careers, enterprise and employability.
Many strengths of the school were noted, particularly our creative partnerships in the community delivering the Applied Art GCSE at Number 6 Studio and the Heritage Project for post-16 students.
Our commitment to provide high quality work experience for Year 10 students, the quality of careers advice and our knowledge of the needs of individual students were also praised.
It was evident that students and parents value the guidance the school provides as Mrs Eglin, our Careers Adviser, is one of the busiest members of staff at Year 10 Parents' Evenings.
