School Community feedback Students and Parents

In our Student Voice activity last week we explored “What‟s Special About Our School”. The findings of this issue focus are now displayed for all students to see in school. Students appreciate the changes and updates we have made to the school site; they describe the school as “peaceful, calm and safe”, with relationships that are “friendly, supportive, encouraging, safe and trusting”; they describe their teachers and lessons as “good and fun” and recognise that students get different levels of help depending on their needs. We agree with our students that this is “A Brilliant School!”

As well as asking students about the strengths of the school, we also regularly ask parents to give us their views. At every Parents' Evening we collect responses to the questions included in the Ofsted parent questionnaire.

From the 3 events held so far this academic year, we are delighted to find that over 90% of parents have responded agree or strongly agree to every question. Particularly pleasing are the 100% for 'my child is well looked after' and 99% for 'my child feels safe', 'my child is taught well' and 'the school provides high quality support and guidance for my child‟s future'.
