School transport for students in catchment is organised by North Yorkshire Council (NYC) Passenger Transport Team, and further information can be found on the NYC website.
Is my child eligible for free school transport?
NYC provide free school transport to Nidderdale High School if it is the catchment school or nearest school to your home and is over 3 miles walking distance away or where the route to the school is not safe to walk. NYC will automatically assess student’s eligibility and will send a bus pass to your home address if you are eligible.

Can I drive my child to school?
You are able to drop your child off at school but we politely request you do not park in the bus lane or near to the school entrance gate.
